QA: What is the Gene
IN MATTER-BEING PARADIGM, WHAT IS THE GENE?
We shell begin with the universe’s beginning, namely the non-local input of the number 9 in base-9 with its line-diagrams formulated in the following Pre-Heaven Mandala.
BIG BANG <— MANDALA —> I-CHING
Kun <—-> 8, Gen <—-> 7, Kan <—->6, Sun <—-> 5, Kian <—-> 1, Dui<—->2, Li <—-> 3, Jen <—-> 4
Inner Mandala <–Holon of Ch’i–Li [ 理]–Qi –> Aether
The Creation Holon is expressed in the above [I-Ching] Mandala, namely, Inner Mandala —- 9 in Base-9 —- Outer Mandala
Notice, the number 9 is absent [or hidden] in the Mandala. Aether is formulated by the Inner Mandala, namely the Holon of Ch’i—Li—Qi. Notice, Qi represents post-heaven [symbolized by the yin-yang waves] and Ch’i as pre-heaven [symbolized by the two circles]. Li can be viewed as the character for Logic.
We can now answer the question: What is the Vacuum? The Vacuum [both logic and information vacuums], within the Matter-Being Paradigm, is another term for Aether as represented by the above Holon Mandala.
With the Big Bang Mandala defined, we can now use its contents to define the creation or co-creation of the Gene’s three phases of manifestations [the Holon of Logic-Information—Information-Energy — energy-mass].
The mappings between computer codes and genetic codes are expressed in the following I-Ching line-diagram mandala, the Logic-Information Phase.

Since information (“mind”) and matter (“body”) cross in the genetic code, it may be expected that evolution has selected the most favourable, i.e., the surest and at the same time most economical, principle.
The only solution to the problem is to seek understanding of DNA not only in terms of biochemistry and energetics in order to grasp all its fundamental and infinitely wide-ranging significance, but also to tackle the problem, as you have done, with no less energy, from the information theory angle — an approach which is still neglected today. In short, the DNA’s logic-information is formulated by Schronberger using I-Ching line-diagrams.
Next, the DNA information-energy formula is expressed in the following mandala showing the helix of two base-9 number series.
INFORMATION-ENERGY PHASE OF THE GENE HOLON
INFORMATION-ENERGY <— —>9 IN BASE-9
The series shown in the diagram are 124875…124875…124875… and 933966…933966…933966… Both are repeating series. The significant of the second series, namely 369, have been discussed in other postings and in the Book. The series 124875 has interesting properties related to Pascal’s Triangle (see Cecil Balmond, Number 9: The Search for the Sigma Code), and to the Music of the Sphere (see posting, 6 Days of Creation II).
The above two mandalas cover the logic-information and information-energy of the Gene Holon. What remains is the energy-mass component. This component connects with the involution-evolution-entropy holon as shown below with the mapping of the DNA onto 5.
ENERGY-MASS PHASE OF THE GENE HOLON
5, Tuning Point <——> Gene [DNA]
Fire –> 9, Earth –> 2 (Yin), Metal –> 7 (Lake), Metal –> 6 (Yang) Water–>1, Earth –> 8 (Mountain), Wood –> 3 (Thunder), Wood–>4(Wind)
The energy-mass [or chemistry] phase is the V-Diagram. The V connects to the logic-information and information-energy of the post-heaven mandala below, because it generates the mandala with 5. Notice, 5 is missing [hidden] in the manadala. The post-heaven numbers connect to the Base-10 system.
5 is at the turning point of the V, it connects the logic-information on both sides of the V. This is shown by the dotted line that connects Qi [lower Chinese Character] and Ch’i [upper Chinese character]. The function of 5 is on the universe’s logic-information stability by minimizing the entropy component in the Holon of Involution—Evolution—Entropy on both sides of the V and in the post-heaven mandala below.
Finally, with the Gene Holon defined by the three mandalas shown above, we can conclude that the Gene has a direct connection with the Big Bang and its history; namely the Gene can be viewed as the GUT monopole within the Vacuum Computer Program. In short, the Gene contains the Initial-Final Conditions pre-coded. Yet, when the Gene is correctly manifested, it guides the Involution-Evolution of the universe by minimizing the universe’s entropy. Thus, this Matter-Being model of the Gene satisfies the statement: 靈 Above, So it is 靈 Below
- Above: 72 to 108 Octave, the Universe is Pre-coded in the 靈 of the GUT Monopole
- Below: 01 to 36 Octave, the Universe is Pre-coded in the 靈 of the Monopole of the Gene
The first 靈 [Intelligence of 9] is in (靈-魂-魄). The second 靈 [Intelligence of 6] is in (身-心-靈). Notice, 魂-魄 is the reference frame for the first 靈, while the reference frame for the second 靈 is 身-心. [In the middle, 36 to 72 Octaves, the reference frame is 精-氣 and 靈 collapsed is 神, Intelligence of 3]. In this perspective, 5 stabilize 靈 crossover to 靈 and collapsed as 神. The best way to view these Chinese Characters [or mandalas] is to treat them as mind-soul-spirit operators like symbols in math.

DNA has been found to have a bizarre ability to put itself together, even at a distance, when according to known science it shouldn’t be able to. Explanation: None, at least not yet.
Scientists are reporting evidence that contrary to our current beliefs about what is possible, intact double-stranded DNA has the “amazing” ability to recognize similarities in other DNA strands from a distance. Somehow they are able to identify one another, and the tiny bits of genetic material tend to congregate with similar DNA. The recognition of similar sequences in DNA’s chemical subunits, ocurs in a way unrecognized by science. There is no known reason why the DNA is able to combine the way it does, and from a current theoretical standpoint this feat should be chemically impossible.
Even so, the research published in ACS’ Journal of Physical Chemistry B, shows very clearly that homology recognition between sequences of several hundred nucleotides occurs without physical contact or presence of proteins. Double helixes of DNA can recognize matching molecules from a distance and then gather together, all seemingly without help from any other molecules or chemical signals.
